Rules Of Rust EP
2006
This CD is made up from the mountain of material I wrote while all my belongings were stored in a ruined old garage.
I couldn't make any music at that time so just wandered around writing all day.
Super 8 superhero is about a distant relative of mine who escaped from a mental institution to go on the run and follow stars.
An old law stated that if the patient wasn't caught over a certain period of time then he or she was deemed "sane" and could go about their way.
So he found a dog and did just that.
June was written on a bench that I used to frequent every day one summer back when I was kind of nowhere.
I just sat there and mulled it all over and then threw it all in the bag.
The Sasquatch is about a very good Dj friend of mine.
Some of these are among the first recordings that feature James Oliver on Cello, guitars and whatever else was to hand.
Meeting him again after all those years has been a real godsend .
Aside from his ridiculous talents it's a pleasure to have such a solid friend in my life.
Thank you for putting up with my endless commands
